Simon Sy received his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Western Kentucky University (WKU) in 2025. While at WKU, he conducted research in organic chemistry regarding bioactive compounds for 2 years. Starting Fall of 2026, he has now joined Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed's research group at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) on the Amarillo Campus.
